Hi, I’m Lindsay!
For the past 13 years I have photographed close to 1000 newborns, and I also teach Newborn Mentoring & Training for other aspiring Newborn Photographers.
I am a licensed and insured professional photographer, and have been serving expectant parents and growing families from Albany and the greater Portland area for 13 years. I provide timeless images you will still cherish 20 years from now, when your babies are grown.
I started my business photographing a friend’s newborn in my apartment living room, and fast forward 13 years, I now have a beautiful professional studio to welcome my clients to. I am so grateful and lucky that I followed my heart and my passion! Babies (and puppies :) have my heart.
While there are a million different styles of Newborn Photography, I always try to focus on images that I know parents will still love 20 years from now. I try not to follow fleeting trends too much, and instead focus on stunning, beautifully captured, timeless, modern, and clean images of your newborn. I want you to cherish your image for a lifetime, and focus on creating those types of images for you.
I have twin boys, (now 5 years old! phew!) and they keep me laughing and on my toes everyday. I remember clearly what it’s like to be a new very exhausted parent, and I use this knowledge to make your time with me as easy and enjoyable as possible.
I get it. I know how hard it is to leave the house with your new baby, but I promise your experience with me will be lovely and you will be so grateful you did it.

Newborn sessions are typically done within the first 7–14 days after birth, when babies are still very sleepy and naturally curl into those soft, snuggled poses.
That said, I photograph newborns up to around 4–5 weeks old as well. Every baby is different, and even if your little one is a bit older, or maybe was a preemie, we can still create beautiful, meaningful images together.
And beyond that, I photograph babies and families at every stage… from those early newborn days all the way through milestones, first birthdays, and family sessions.
If you’re unsure, the best thing to do is reach out. I’m always happy to guide you based on your baby’s age and what you’re hoping for.

I always suggest reaching out around the halfway point of pregnancy, usually near the 20 week mark. That’s when most mamas feel settled into their second trimester and ready to start planning the beautiful things ahead.
I only take a limited number of due dates each month so my calendar stays flexible for early or late arrivals. Because of that, my schedule fills quickly. If you already know you want these fleeting moments photographed, reaching out sooner ensures you’re held gently on my calendar long before baby makes their debut.

I plan for the unpredictability. Once you book, I reserve your due date on my calendar, holding space for you without locking in an exact session date.
When baby is born, you simply send me a quick message, and I will send you a few options for dates for your session. Whether your little one arrives early, right on time, or fashionably late, you’re still guaranteed a spot. This approach allows everything to unfold naturally, without stress or pressure.

Absolutely. Welcoming a new baby is a family story, and I love documenting that connection. Parent and sibling images are always available if you choose. These portraits often become some of the most cherished because they capture the beginning of a new chapter together.

So every portrait you purchase as a printed product includes its matching, fully retouched digital file. This way, you receive the best of both worlds… art you can display and treasure daily, and digital files tucked safely away for the years still ahead. -
While I cannot promise last minute availability, there is always a chance that a mama had her baby early or late, and that can occasionally free up a spot in my schedule.
