I wish I could tell you that you will remember everything from those first few weeks home with your new baby. But between the sleep deprivation, pure exhaustion, and entirely new daily routine…

Newborns Change Quickly.

Every day after your baby is born will bring changes. Those first few weeks are exhausting, and I don’t want you to forget anything. That little sound you thought they would do forever? They suddenly don’t. That little scrunched up face and wrinkled forehead when they cry? Gone before you are ready. You will think you will remember it all, but you won’t. And I do not want you to forget how they seemingly melted into your chest when you held them, their tiny little squeaking sounds, or how it was possible to have the softest head of hair imaginable.

The images I create will take you right back to those first moments with your tiny newborn. And bonus, your sweet baby will absolutely LOVE looking at their photos with their parents as they grow up. My twin boys constantly ask to see them when they were “little with mama”. They love seeing their photos up in their room, and in our hallways. It is so special for you of course, but also for them to have as they grow and someday have their own children!

It’s really incredible how beautiful and unique every newborn is, and you will not regret having their first moments saved for a lifetime. Their little fuzzy hair, their yawns, their little lip that tucks in.

I have been photographing newborns for 11 years, and have worked with over 700 newborns. I have a beautiful studio located in Salem, Oregon to welcome you and baby to. You and your baby are in the perfect hands with me. I have the expertise and professionalism necessary for parents to entrust their brand new baby to.

I know it’s a big deal to trust ANYONE with your baby, but I will work to calm any worries and promise to make you will feel welcomed and safe the first time meeting me!

When Are Newborn Photoshoots Typically Done?

  • Newborn Photography Sessions are typically done when baby is between 6-14 days old. But there is always flexibility with that if mama/baby need more time!

Where Is Your Studio Located?

  • My Newborn Studio is located in Salem, Oregon. I frequently welcome clients from Portland and surrounding areas as well.

Since Babies Arrive On Their Own Schedule, How Does Scheduling Work?

  • I plan for this! How scheduling works is I get your session reserved on my calendar tentatively by your due date, but we wait till baby is actually born to schedule the date of your session. This allows for baby to come early, or come late no problem!

The Newborn Photoshoot Experience

  • Newborn Sessions are reserved by your tentative due date. We will work together to schedule the date of your actual session after baby arrives.

    All sessions require a non-refundable booking fee in order to get booked. The Newborn Booking Fee is $250.

    Please Note: The Booking Fee serves solely to secure your session, and it is not applied to your chosen Collection Cost.

  • Newborn Sessions are offered in studio only, and start at 10am.

    Sessions typically last 2-3 hours long.

    You will fill out a questionnaire prior to your session to let me know any colors/props/poses you would like to see included.

    I Provide Everything We Need For Your Session!

    You do not need to bring anything for baby other than what you need to feed baby.

    Sibling, Parent, and/or Family images are included at no additional cost.

  • 7-10 Days following your session you will be sent a proofing gallery of un-edited images where you will choose and pay for your images and Collection choice. (Contact me for Collection Pricing)

    Approximately 1-2 weeks after choosing your images, you will be sent a download link of your fully edited and retouched images.

    You will have an opportunity to purchase professional prints and products at this time as well.

    A print release is included with every session.
