BECAUSE FROM YOUR VERY FIRST EMAIL, I WILL GUIDE YOU THROUGH EVERYTHING. And YOU CAN BE AS INVOLVED OR AS HANDS-OFF AS YOU’D LIKE, KNOWING IT WILL ALL COME TOGETHER BEAUTIFULLY.
There is a quiet kind of fog that comes with those first weeks. The kind where days and nights blend together, and everything feels new, overwhelming… and somehow sacred all at once. You will see the clock hit 1am, then 3am, then 5am more times then you did back in college. And somewhere along the way you will realize that you can actually “technically” survive on 4-5 hours of sleep.
You will think you will remember it all.
But the truth is, you won’t.
When I think back to those first weeks after having my boys, I still don’t have a CLUE what I did….but I do know that it wasn’t sleeping. ha! When my boys were a few months old, their pediatrician relayed to me how impressed she was that I brought them in for their 2 week check up.. all by myself. I said, “I did?!?!” I had absolutely zero memory of this. And still don’t. ZERO. Truly wild. When you hear that your brain will not be running at even half capacity those first few weeks, or months, believe it.
So after personally experiencing that special kind of exhaustion and memory loss, I wanted to create an experience that didn’t require much of anything from new parents. My newborn sessions are run like a smooth operation behind the scenes. After 13 years, I have perfected my session flow, and I do all the hard work in advance so all you have to do is show up, take some snuggly photos, get back in your pjs, and then head back home.
I will have my studio warm, set up, and all ready to go with your preferences right when you arrive. Everything is planned in advance to keep your time with me as efficient as possible.
We will spend a few hours together, oohing and ahhing over your darling baby, capturing everything you want to remember about this season, and still get you back home in time for lunch and an afternoon nap.
Your Investment
SESSION FEE $300
This non-refundable session fee reserves your due date, or session date in my schedule. I only book a limited number of sessions each month to allow for flexibility. It is recommended to book 2-3 months in advance.
