I know from experience how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person holding and photographing your brand new baby. That kind of trust is everything in these early days. My hope is that as you read through this, you begin to feel a sense of ease knowing exactly who you’re working with.

For more than 13 years, I’ve specialized in newborn photography in Salem, Oregon and the greater Portland area. What began as photographing a dear friend’s baby quickly became my life’s work. Since then, I’ve had the honor of photographing over 800 newborns, creating soft, timeless images for families who want to remember just how small their babies once were.

I’m also a mama to 4 year old twin boys (That is their 1 Year photo at the top of this page!), and that part of my story is a very unique one.

They came into my life through embryo donation after years of infertility, diagnoses, and loss. So when I say I understand the ache of wanting to hold your baby in your arms, I truly do. I know how heavy that longing can feel, and how sacred these early days become once your baby is finally here.

That experience shapes everything I do.

When you step into my studio, you’re stepping into a space built on patience, gentleness, and understanding. Your baby’s safety and comfort always come first. Every pose is carefully supported, every movement intentional, and every session guided in a way that allows you to simply exhale and be present.

You don’t need to know how to pose.
You don’t need to bring anything.

My sessions are designed to feel calm, efficient, and fully supported. From the wraps and textures to the gentle flow of the session itself, every detail has been thoughtfully prepared so you can focus on what matters most.

Newborn safety is never taken lightly here. I remain fully up to date on vaccinations including Tdap, flu, and COVID, and continue ongoing education to ensure your baby is always in safe, experienced hands.

Clients typically reserve their newborn sessions a few months in advance to ensure availability, but if you are late to the game, it never hurts to reach out and see if I have an opening!
